Taryn and Perry’s wedding featured snowflake-themed décor, an emotional first look, candle-lit ceremony, and high energy live music. The day had it all! Taryn and Perry are an amazing couple, and it was a privilege to spend the day with them and tell their story.

A creative thinker, Mandy had seen a few videos online of helicopters delivering couples to the tops of mountains. Why not try that? Alpine Helicopters in Canmore has it down to a science. And to share the experience with everybody who couldn’t be there, bring along a wedding videographer.

A gorgeous fall day dawned in early October, with a chinook bringing warm, mild air from the coast. Unfortunately, they also brought near hurricane-force winds to the local peaks, and as a result Alpine had to ground all helicopter flights. On to Plan B (or was it C?) and another venue. And so, Mandy and Dalton, their parents, photographer Chelsea Pope and the Dream Day videography team left Canmore and headed for gorgeous Moraine Lake and Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
