Banff & Calgary wedding video. Shane met Amanda at a meeting in Fort McMurray. She was shy and a little introverted. He was focused on work. But the two hit it off immediately and began getting know each other better, despite trips and separation. Leading to the moment when they gathered with friends and family on a mountain meadow, with rain threatening in the distance.

Jerica & Rhys | Medicine Hat Wedding | Calgary Videographer

Medicine Hat wedding video. We travelled to the south-east corner of Alberta to film Jerica and Rhys’s Medicine Hat wedding. They’re one of those couples who, despite their differences, just click together perfectly. Rhys is the strong, silent type. Jerica is more outgoing and conversational. They’ve supported each other strongly through school, job changes, and injury. The weather didn’t look promising in the morning, but these things seem to have a way of working out, and so it proved. It was a beautiful wedding and a privilege for us to spend the day with two amazing families.

Moraine Lake elopement video. Zack and Karen are a young couple from upstate New York with a love of travel. It was during a trip to Germany that Zack proposed to his long-time girlfriend. For their elopement, they decided to cross a continent and visit a new country. It was only fitting that they chose the beautiful mountain setting of Moraine Lake in the Canadian Rockies!

Devyn & Jessie-Lynn | Silver Springs | Calgary Wedding Video

Calgary wedding video at Silver Springs. Devyn is known in his family for “Devynisms,” off-the-wall questions and silly moments. But this quirkiness endeared Devyn even more to Jessie-Lynn, who fully embraced his wedding planning contribution of Batman themed bridal t-shirts, a Camaro “getaway car” and the Bat-Cake.

Val & Nigel | Tunnel Mountain | Banff Wedding Film

Banff wedding video at Tunnel Mountain. Val and Nigel had planned on getting married in their native Ontario, but unfortunately the wedding venue they had planned on unexpectedly closed. But it all worked out for the best. Val and Nigel had gotten engaged while on a hike in Banff, and so they decided to return to the beautiful mountain setting for their wedding. The distance from home meant they had to have a more intimate wedding at Tunnel Mountain Reservoir with close family and friends, followed by a dinner reception at The Hive Gallery and Gatherings. A larger reception was to follow a month or so later in Ontario. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Madi & AJ | Emerald Lake Lodge | Mountain Elopement

Madi and AJ are two shy, easy-going Aussies with a love of travel. They had originally intended to get married in Bali, but instead decided to go with the opposite: a winter elopement in the Canadian Rockies! They’d planned a honeymoon in North America, so it all made sense. We have a feeling Madi’s dress was originally intended for a beach wedding, but fortunately the weather wasn’t overly cold and somehow it seemed to work in the beautiful snow-covered mountains.

Diana & Troy met through mutual friends in Calgary’s soccer community. Talking to each other was easy, but even with their instant rapport, friends had to intervene to get their relationship going. They’ve been together for a while, and have a young daughter who features prominently in their wedding story.

For a couple who love exploring the mountains, Mount Norquay made for the picture perfect location for a wedding. A Banff wedding is always special, particularly when its trails and paths mean so much to the bride and groom. Alena and Erik were set up by friends who knew they would be perfect for each other. They met on a casual date, then got better acquainted while camping. Erik ultimately proposed at the top of the Big Beehive trail near Lake Louise.

Angelo and Athena met online. Agreeing to meet for coffee, the attraction was immediate. That first coffee date turned into a conversation that lasted the entire day, even continuing to a second restaurant. Both of them love the mountains, and they decided that the beautiful scenery of the Banff area would make the perfect wedding venue.
