Diana & Troy met through mutual friends in Calgary’s soccer community. Talking to each other was easy, but even with their instant rapport, friends had to intervene to get their relationship going. They’ve been together for a while, and have a young daughter who features prominently in their wedding story.

For a couple who love exploring the mountains, Mount Norquay made for the picture perfect location for a wedding. A Banff wedding is always special, particularly when its trails and paths mean so much to the bride and groom. Alena and Erik were set up by friends who knew they would be perfect for each other. They met on a casual date, then got better acquainted while camping. Erik ultimately proposed at the top of the Big Beehive trail near Lake Louise.

Jared & Rhian are a fun-loving, adventurous couple with a love of the mountains and travel. They’ve known each other since high school, but didn’t become a couple until meeting again at University. 8 years and one shepherd-husky cross later they decided to take the next big step. The Apache wedding blessing meant a great deal to Jared, as it was also spoken at his parents wedding.
Lakefront weddings aren’t common in Calgary, so it always adds a unique and beautiful element to the day. Becky and Bryan really are two of the nicest people you will every meet. We first met Becky a few years back when she was one of Jenn’s bridesmaids. Great to see she found the love of her life!
Scott and Nicole are an easygoing, fun couple. They wanted their wedding to be intimate and romantic. They also wanted the feel of a destination wedding without the big travel budget. So they chose something a little closer to home. The River Café in Prince’s Island in Calgary was the perfect venue.
Mark’s friends describe Kelly as a “force of nature”, with boundless energy and a quick wit to match. While she made it pretty clear that Mark’s hair was his first quality that attracted her, their first date quickly showed how compatible they were. Their wedding took place on a stunningly beautiful fall day. The ceremony took place at Lakeview United Church and reception at the DeWinton Community Hall.
Lindsay first told us three years ago that one day we would be filming her wedding, and so it came to pass! She and Chase are two fun-loving people who have faced some recent challenges, but overcame them and ended up closer than ever. Theirs is a unique story that we were privileged to tell.
